A tasca at heart that's grown up into a more sophisticated restaurant in the midle of the Bairro Alto.Here you'll the usual fare of Portuguese fish and meat dishs and they're usually well prepared. The cook sometimes displays an urge to get modern and fads such as ostrich steaks appear on the menu only to disappear again after a couple of weeks when the generally conservative public hasnt't shown the least interest. The desserts are delicious and different for Lisbon -profiteroles, wild berry fruit tart and other things that don't contain eggs, almonds and sugar.
